Who We Are and Our Priorities
Like many startups, BD4C was born out of a sense of need and the knowledge that there is a better way of doing things.
BD4C started with a desire to empower District 4 communities to become sustainable communities. We engage in hands-on work at the grassroots level, and that gives us first-hand experience and knowledge of the needs and concerns of our communities. From there, we're able to create programs geared toward addressing those concerns. The impact we strive for is increased assessed property values, crime reduction, beautified neighborhoods, unified neighbors, creation of jobs, and clean community spaces.

Where We Are
BuildingD4Community is headquartered in Detroit, Michigan.
Based in a dynamic, diverse city with an intriguing history (world-changing inventions and groundbreaking music). So, of course, we are experiencing diverse social needs and with that, offer support to all our ongoing initiatives here on the far east side of Detroit.
