Sharita Pierce is a successful real estate investor, licensed contractor, and a Detroit native. She attended Denby (a prominent high school in District 4) and is a graduate of WCCCD with a degree in Business Management. She has witnessed firsthand the downfall of the communities on the far east side of Detroit. Once part of the problem, founding BD4C will be her solution to the problem. “Behind every great leader is an even greater story.”
Dennis is a native Detroiter, raised in and currently resides in District 4. He’s a proud graduate of Detroit’s Renaissance High School and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Marygrove College and an MBA from the University of Michigan. Dennis had a passion for serving the community. After a successful 21-year career with the Detroit Police Department, Dennis continued to serve this community as the Deputy District Manager for District 4 out of the Mayor’s Office and is currently the Deputy Chief of Staff for District 4’s Councilwoman Latisha Johnson. A lover of sports, you may very well catch Dennis at either a Lions, Pistons, Tigers, or Red Wings game.
Paul Lewandowski has been an environmental and regulatory lawyer for over 30 years. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and the Georgetown University Law Center. He worked as an environmental lawyer in Detroit and was the Director of Regulatory Law at the building materials manufacturer Owens Corning for almost 25 years.
Michael Lewandowski is an attorney currently working in Washington, DC. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and Georgetown Law Center. He has experience with nonprofit organizations of all sizes which work on a variety of issues from politics to education, to environmental protection. He is an avid Detroit sports fan and always makes sure to catch the Red Wings when they visit Washington.
